The wait is finally over, our shipments have landed, and we are NOW SHIPPING Opena Cases! Woooo hooooo!!! Once we get through our long list of pre-orders we will be shipping orders within 24 hours of placement. If you haven't already ordered your Opena Case, do it now!  

The website your currently looking at is powered by Shopify which is a great online e-commerce solution which we've been using since we started taking pre-orders of the Opena. Shopify are currently running a competition called build-a-business which is open to all new Shopify based stores. We entered the competition and apparently we're in the top 10!?!? This took us by surprise but we're stoked to be in the running and we owe it all to you guys! Again we couldn't have done it with out you.

 As we will be starting to ship units in about 2 weeks we thought it might be a good idea to demonstrate the preferred methods for using your Opena while having fun and looking cool.  We have been using and testing the product for the past few months so watch the video below for a few of our favorite opening moves!

We know it's been a long time coming but today we received our final off tool samples in the final production colours and they look awesome! The last few weeks we have been working with our manufacturer to fine tune the production tool, making sure the blade slides smoothly in and out of the case. The original production samples we're way too tight so we had to open up the blade cavity a little to give it more room to move. Unfortunately this process took a little longer than we originally anticipated but we've got it sorted now and we've given the go ahead to start production! Whoo hoooooo!

We've been informed that manufacturing and assembly will take around 10 - 15 days to complete, so assuming everything goes to plan...(fingers crossed) we're only 2 weeks away from shipping production units!

It's been a busy last couple of weeks at Opena HQ. We have almost finalised the tooling and are ready to hit the GO button on production. Our factory tells us we'll be looking at 10-15 days of manufacturing, packing and shipping off to our distribution centre in LA. Once the parts hit the distribution centre its going to take a good week to get all the orders processed and sent out to all you guys so we're still on schedule to ship in August but you might not receive your Opena's until early September. We're doing out best to speed this up as much as is humanly possible.
