We've put up these frequently asked questions in the hope it will answer most of the commonly asked questions! Before you shoot off an email we encourage you to read the questions and answers below as you will look silly asking a question that has already been answered, however if you are looking for something which is not on this page then flick us an email and we'll do our best to respond to you as quickly as we can.

Q. When will my order ship?
A. Orders are now processed and shipped within 24-48 hours of placing an order.

Q. How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A. If you're located in Australia or the USA it should take around 3-6 days to arrive. International orders take 10-15 days depending on which country you're from but we have had some orders take up to 6 weeks. If you want your order to ship faster we suggest you select a shipping method which is better than USPS First-Class Mail International. 

Q. Which shipping carrier do you use?
A. We use USPS as our standard carrier for USA and International orders. Australian and NZ orders are shipping with Australia Post. We also provide options for UPS and FEDEX if you want it more secure or need it in a hurry.

Q. Do you ship to Sweden/Mexico/France/(Insert you're country here)?
A. Yes, we ship WORLD WIDE however international shipments can take up to 6 weeks to arrive if using the standard shipping option (USPS First-Class Mail International). We suggest selecting a shipping option which has tracking and delivery confirmation if you know your country does not have the most reliable postal service. 

Q. Does the Opena Case fit both the AT&T (GSM) and Verizon (CDAM) iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4/S
A. Yes, the Opena Case fits all variants of the iPhone 4 as snug as Superman's underpants.

Q. Do you make an Opena® Case for the iPhone 3/3GS
A. Sorry no we don't, but Isn't is about time you upgraded anyway?

Q. Are you guys going to make an Opena Case for the iPhone 5?
A. As soon as its released.  

Q. Please make this for my Droid/HTC/Blackberry/Samsung!
A. We would love to however for each phone model we make an Opena Case for we need to invest considerable time and money in design/tooling and production. There are over 40 million iPhones sold to date so its a huge market which justifies the investment. If your phone model has sales of half that amount, then send us an email and we'll consider it. 

Q. Can take my Opena through Airport security?
A. We've been to five different countries (including the USA) with the Opena and have not had a problem so far.

Q. Does the case scratch the iPhone when the bottle opener is slid out? 
A. Hell no! We designed and engineered the Opena Case to be a protective case first and a bottle opener second. There's no way the bottle opener can come in contact with your iPhone, and the Polycarbonate/ABS case should protect your iPhone from daily abuse! 

Q. My blade is a little loose, can I tighten it up?
A. Sure can, check out the 'tuning your Opena guide'

Note, this is only required on the first generation Openas. Current model Openas do not require any tuning.

Q. Loving the snug fit on my iPhone but how do I take it off?
A. We designed the case to be a super strong so it would protect your phone from daily use. Its not designed to be taken on and off all the time but if you do want to remove it the best way to remove the case is to slide the opener blade into the out position (so you can push on the back of the phone) then, using your finger nails, grab the front edge of the case (on the side without the buttons) and flex the top and bottom corners of the case outwards until you feel the phone pop out (you need strong nails). Then once both corners are free you can simply rotate the phone out of the case.


Q. What colors are available?
A. At this stage its just Black and White however we are looking into doing a limited color run in the future. Email us if you have a preference. 

Q. Will shaken up drinks damage my iPhone or spray liquid into the 30 pin dock connector?
A. To be honest we had the same concern but we've done heaps of testing and found its pretty difficult to get any liquid to spray directly into the 30pin connector (see video below). We opened 1,000's of beers since the original prototypes were created and our iPhone's have not missed a beat. That said it's still possible to get liquid in the 30 pin connector if you try hard enough so we urge people to use common sense when using the Opena and please drink in moderation.  

 

Q. I'm kind of a big deal, people know me. Can I resell/distribute/represent the Opena Case in my Country/Campus/University?
A. Sure! All you need to do is fill in this form and we'll be in touch. 

Q. Will this thing help me pick up chicks?
A. Absolutely.

Q. Hey I'm a chick... will this thing help me pick up blokes?
A. Definitely! If it doesn't then email us a profile photo and we'll see if we can help out. 

Q. Can I use the Opena on twist tops?
A. Yep, they open just like a pop top.

Q. What warranty is offered with the product?
A. All our products are covered by a 12 month return to base warranty. If the product is deemed faulty we will refund your purchase or replace it. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Note: our warranty does not cover products which have been dropped or damaged as a result of miss use. If you have an issue with your product please email support@annexproducts.com with your original order number or purchase receipt.

Q. Refund and Return Policy
A. We are happy to refund or replace your product should it be found faulty or damaged within 30 days of purchase. If you require a refund or need to return your item, email support@annexproducts.com and we will send you the required information.
